  Me before watching Citizen Kane: It can’t possibly live up to the hype.
  Me after: I’ll take “I was wrong” for 400, Alex.

  Every shot was breathtakingly beautiful. I got lost in each frame and then it would switch to something even more spectacular. I couldn’t believe how revolutionary the technique was considering it was 1941. Truly beyond its time. The out of order storytelling was a great narrative device paired with the insane lighting and composition of each scene.
