Mary and The Witch's Flower 2017
I’ve watched this movie twice; first time being appalled by another ghibli’s work of art but second time (after a long gap since watching the first one) really was able to pay attention to detail since I knew the gist of the plot, being able to connect with side characters more and thinking about how the story could have changed directions but overall a playful and jolly story but also touching into the dark magic

A movie that was all made in blender with no dialogue except chirps and woofs…and meows, it’s a very fascinating work of art. Being an art major, it was very fun to see the different transitions and the lighting that changed in different scenes. Although not being familiar with animation techniques, one could go more in detail from the artistic view. The conclusion was on an open ending, leaving a questionable impression on the film’s world. Overall, it was very fun to watch the main character be so silly
