  Magnetic in many ways. Makes three hours fly by and helped me get a bit cosier in Rivette’s style. Laced with thin, cloudy allusions and links between characters, it makes me like Celine and Julie Go Boating more than I did after my initial viewing.

  Almost no one does black and white like Resnais.

  Marvellous technically but feels a hint pretentious at times. Despite this, strangely enough the film still manages to hold itself up as a pretty great dialogue on traumatic memories.
