  Wildly imaginative postmodern coming of age revision of Frankenstein.

  Search for self through exploration of own’s body and mind, in the meantime exposing the absurdities of patriarchal expectations. ‘Poor Things’ is witty. It’s visually stunning, and it has brilliant casting and score. Definitely a tour de force for Yorgos Lanthimos and definitely my favourite movie of 2023.
