  my only thing about the vampire movies I've seen recently is that the vampire tends to come unexpected, and not in a 'wow what a surprise' kind of way, but more of a 'oh well that took an unexpected turn'. I feel like they could've set that expectation better from the beginning somehow and built the tension from there. But regardless I did enjoy the film.
