A great ride along in the simple life of a toilet cleaner in the heart of Tokyo. Hirayama barely talks throughout the entire movie but you get to know him deeply by the time the credits roll. From his love of photography and his favorite songs that he listens to on his daily drives to work, to the underlying sadness that sometimes accompanies him when being faced with his mortality.
