  Thoroughly let down after such a stellar marketing campaign. Fantastic opening and set up, then an altogether pedestrian execution of the convoluted and lazy story behind it all. Maika Monroe is great. Nicolas Cage is Nicolas cage, which in this case doesn’t work for me. The direction and photography is interesting with some bold choices at times that I enjoyed, but held back by some unfulfilling story-telling and questionable dialogue.
