The Bob's Burgers Movie 2022
Where The Simpsons Movie opted to go larger than the show had gone before, Bob's Burgers wisely decides not to raise the stakes or scope beyond the longer runtime.
It's just 90 more minutes of a family you love, holding on by a thread financially, getting into wacky misadventures that still feel relatively grounded.
It was exactly itself, and that's all it needed to be to be a delightful watch.

Mad God 2021
There's nothing quite like it. It's so rare to watch somebody at the top of their craft make something entirely their own, with no care towards the potential commercial consequences or successes.
Mad God is Phil Tippett pouring everything he has into something that he had to make. While watching, you can mine the abundance of social allegories at each level of the horrific Tower of Babylon, or you can simply sit back and let the atmosphere and emotions of each segment take you away.
