    I'd given up hope of seeing a good-quality French comedy, but now I have, thanks to Quentin Dupieux for this little nugget.

    Raphaël Quenard is extremely gifted in his role, and I have no doubt that his talent is immense. Even if his performance is the film's most outstanding, we must also mention all the other actors, who make this play realistic and allow us to blend in and feel like we're one of the hostages.…

    A little disappointed with this Christmas slasher. The first half of the film is unbearable, with the two main characters spending their time insulting each other, putting “fuck” in every sentence and explaining why one fucks better than the other. The second half is obviously the best, but still leaves something to be desired, with low-budget models far too visible in the scenes (physical, weight, facial problems, it's really complicated on this point) and a rather predictable plot.
