PAINT THE TOWN RED
Actually dumbass decision by me to watch this as my first body-horror movie. It is seven leagues of fucked up.
The performances, practical effects, cinematography, and art direction are superb. The sound design is also awesome. I love the metalcore breakdown at the end of the movie.
The summary of this movie is '😦' or at least that was my resting face for most of it. Regardless, I loved it. I can recognize that a movie like this only comes around once in a while.
Dennis Quaid eating shrimp easily was the most disgusting thing in this movie, trust me. 😉

This movie felt like the creators forgot to use the 'main characters' for the plot. It seems like they had more in mind in terms of dialogue and character building between Mickey 17 and 18, and with Kai or Ky or whatever. This was immediately dropped though. It's interesting to see the writers or director take this and throw it away (whether it made the movie better…

I'm not crying you're crying...
Genuinely heartbreaking, so good though.
I love the dynamic of the zombies being virtually unstoppable in the open, versus them being somewhat docile when their vision is obstructed.
Acting is fantastic. I hope the kid got an award for her performance. That was a next-level performance.
