I’m enjoying this version more that I thought I would. The production design is gorgeous. The motivators, the kills, even the deeper dive into the backstory of the original’s phone calls is pretty solid.

This film has no business being called “Black Christmas”. I spent the whole time wondering what this piece had to do with the “Black Christmas” universe, instead of appreciating it as the modern day rape- revenge film that it is. This film needs to be rebranded to receive the proper audience that it is intended.
