  I thought this was so good!!!!!! The silence at the end and through the credits was so heavy. I’m really glad I got to see this in theatre and YES BEST PICTURE DESERVED!!!

  I once considered writing a detailed review for why I didn’t like this, but actually I will not. 

  It’s just not for me and I don’t like Robert Eggers and that’s okay!!! 

  There were some aspects I liked and some lovely shots though!

  Iago is the main character here. Othello is merely an antagonist. Then who is the villain… society? White people?? This production uses Iago’s connection with the audience to turn him into the tragic main character. He’s not the conniving little snake he is when you read the play, he’s simply a man trying his best to survive. 

  The original Othello is largely ambiguous about race (there are so many different interpretations of what it’s trying to say, nobody can agree).…

  do your mandatory gay service and see bottoms in theatres (this is the best movie I’ve ever seen)
