Wicked 2024
The beginning of Wicked does take time, but it’s all about setting up the story/themes. To make us understand The characters and their world.
It feels slow at first, but it makes the rest of the story hit harder. Still a bit long for my taste.

amazing prosthetic jobThe shrimps lunch was disgusting. The emotions via the food was clever, the consommation , the intensity of something you need. Even though the action takes place in the same locations, they play with camera angles, perspectives, and framing to keep things visually fresh.I didn’t find it repetitive .
And the last 30 minutes? Definitely took a wild turn (tell me i’m not the only one getting Carrie prom queen scene)
