  "Kimi" is not perfect, but a great take on pandemia and phobia combined. In the era of video calls, total surveillance, but excessive movie runtimes too, the shorter "Kimi" just makes sense in terms of straightforward storytelling. The cast, esp. peculiar and enjoyable Zoe Kravitz, is well-chosen, while camera and sound are used effectively. The classic soundtrack adds a hitchcockian feel to the housebound setup à Ia "Rear Window" and "The Net". I like Soderbergh most, when he's working low-budget.

  Babylon 2022

  Visually so overwhelming that I forgot how to walk after the cinema. But behind its splendid facade Babylon lacks focus about what story it actually wants to tell. Would be interested to see another cut of the movie – and without the collage at the end.
