  Everest 2015

  sneaky stacked cast. the commercialization of Everest is not humanity’s biggest sin, but the case could certainly be made. Capitalism, egotism, and anti-environmentalism all converge. 

  If the Himalayas were a National Park and the surrounding communities weren’t so poverty stricken (literally hundreds of variables at play) the world would certainly be better off.

  Patriots Day 2016

  honestly such a comfort movie for me. Khandi Alexander absolutely annihilating that one scene. Completely changes the temperature of the movie. Astounding.

  Wahlberg’s composite character shouldn’t have made it out of the third rewrite. But it’s also not a movie without him.

  JK Simmons very first scene in this movie is charming as FUCK absolutely perfect.

  Love that they kept the tone serious but there’s some pretty funny moments here! A lot of these cops are absolute dipshits scared out of their minds! This whole week I remember it was the worst time to be on the Internet. 

  So dumb and so lovely.

  Way more offensive than I thought it would be going in blind, but it was very blunt and really the final joke works so well, it ties the whole thing together. Praise be to Ali Wong, she gained a new fan today.
