After the first part's 3 hours of (succesful) world building, this installment had to deliver on the expectations it evoked. And deliver, it did! This is one of the biggest cinematic epics of the last decade; visually stunning, beautifully scored and absolutely massive in size. If you get a chance to watch it in a theatre, do it. Granted, the storyline doesn't do anything too extraordinary outside of the usual "hero's journey" or "the chosen one"-formula. But personally, its spectacle was enough for me to leave the theatre in awe.

Longlegs 2024
I was completely ready for this movie to live up to its hype and redefine a genre. Unfortunately, for me, it didn't. Granted, the film is beautifully shot, edited and scored, building a lot of atmosphere and suspense during the first 2 acts of the movie.
Unfortunately, to me, all of this falls flat thanks to a third act that felt uninspired, leaning too heavily on tacky supernatural tropes, forced plot points and overacting that took me out of the horror it aimed to create.
