Monkey Man 2024
A refreshing take on the "john-wick" style one-man-army film. Mixing in culture and religion from a world not often seen in western cinema.
Surprised it has taken this long to see Dev Patel as an action hero. Superb acting all round
Main issues lie in the disjointed camera work during the first half in particular, this improves as the character does throughout the film but does muddle the visuals.
