The Brutalist 2024
an intriguing slow-burn drama about obsession, family relations, love, and the stubbornness of a brutalist. Even though I was not a big fan of the brutalist architecture, the movie made me come to appreciate its raw and simple beauty. Even though only appearing in the second half of the movie after intermission, the depiction of wife Eszebet saved the film for me, as a personification of brutalism and reflection of her husband's artistic creations. She is gracious, courageous, with an indomitable spirit, a true brutalist
