a broken relationship is a tragedy and that often being beautiful. this short film encapsulates exactly that and so much more. the use of metaphor in a painting theft for the whole length quenches my thirst of that x factor in concept cinema. the segments in between of the leads in the abondoned building really makes this movie and are so gorgeous. as the film progresses, the weight lingering of unsaid desires and feelings, initially shook away by the breeze…

everything about this movie felt personal to me, be it the 4:3 ratio or the cozy setting of the movie or the bloomy colors, all that combined with 'very rightly' paced cuts of mild dialogue and strong act. felt like a fresh breeze of air gushing into my ears. love, love this new wave of artsy cinema
