It was fun to hear all the music, but the story lacked an arc. It felt disjointed and it was hard to see any depth in the characters or understand their motivations. Also, aside from Ice Cube writing in a notebook for a few seconds and Dr. Dre pressing a few buttons, there was no insight into the talent or creative process of the characters.

Cary Grant’s suit is fantastic. Beautiful movie to watch with the cornfields and Mount Rushmore. One nit is that Cary Grant’s character was not skeptical of Eva Marie Saint’s character’s motives. He truly believed that the lengths to which she went to protect him from the police were only because of his good looks.
