  A quick note on the acting performances:

  Guy Pierce’s performance was quite unlike anything I have ever seen. He starts off incredibly weak which was rather surprising. However, every scene that progressed with Pierce’s character his performance got better. By the end of the film I was most impressed by the crescendo of it, intentional or not, and truly matched up against Adrien Brody.

  But Felicity Jones stole the show every moment she was in. 

  One criticism: They could have easily trimmed down the runtime. I suppose they very much wanted to include that intermission.

  I laughed the entire time. Goldblum completely carried this film and I wish he was in it more. I understand why critics rate it so low but I also understand why audiences rate it higher because it was fun to watch. However, whoever wrote the dialogue should be fired immediately because I could see it in the eyes of the cast how much they hated it.
