Green Book 2018
Not going to lie, i paused because i don't really like films which fit the stereotype of hating on black people throughout without us getting any sort of justice, like wtf. Also I understand the main character is trying to act above it all but he just looked like a suck-up to white people, wasn't good but wasn't bad either however I would not watch again.
The message basically said if you're black and have connections you'll be fine! Like move .

I LOVE movies with a plot like this, like i always adore the teenage experience of movies and adding horror on top of that is genuinely chefs kiss, i enjoyed this and it was so interesting to see what happened within the plot. I will definitely be watching again

Single All the Way 2021
It is VERY rare we see any queer representation with a black male lead so for that I already give it three stars, I loved how the storyline did not equate to assuming stereotypes when it came to what the main people represented. The storyline was very homely and DEFINITELY created a Christmas atmosphere. Of course they were going to add a problem within this movie within the couple but I guess that every movie has to engage a problem, but ultimately this film was gorgeous and I will be watching it again.

Who doesn't love this classic. genuinely who doesn't, ghibli is a masterpiece within connoting hidden meanings. I sometimes wish I had a level of deeper understanding with this film but there are some parts in which I question my importance within the world the film is inviting me to but I appreciate the invitation regardless.
