Belly 1998
The start of the films cinematography is great..But it goes downhill pretty fast. The editing was amateur, the characters felt empty, the arcs were just thrown at you in the backend. The sporadic nature of the film is just an excuse to hide that there was no real structure in the storyline. The cinematography falls off a cliff quick. It’s only celebrated for a couple aesthetically pleasing to the eye scenes with cool references and recognisable characters. In reality the acting is terrible, there’s no substance at all.
