  Update: The more I sit with this film, the more I like it. I think its negative reception is truly fascinating because, in a way, it ties into what the film is trying to say.   Glad to see a big action movie like this set in San Diego, it needs more representation. Now we just need an open-world game set there, the only game set in San Diego is COD Ghosts and it gets obliterated and destroyed in the first 20 minutes.

  Novocaine was a lot of fun though, exactly what I thought it'd be, Jack Quaid is easily one of my favorite actors working today, and you should check it out, it's a good time.
