  God this movie is so incredibly formative for me. One of the funniest and most heartfelt comedies. A film that centers women and their relationships. A groundbreaking comedy which was the first fully woman led studio comedy!!! a “risk”!!! and Kristen and Annie (AND melissa) got oscar nominations!!!! The writing, PERFORMANCES (wendy mclendon, maya rudolph, melissa!!!!! rose effing byrne, etc!!) Kristen wiig is god. So is annie mumolo. I could recite the whole film from memory!!

  My sister has been trying to get me to watch this series for YEARS. I’m so glad i finally did bc omg this film is masterful !!! loved so much. cannot wait for the follow-up.
