   although i cannot vouch for it as a “i’ve never heard of this one, guess i’ll put it on to fall asleep” movie, and i will NOT be sleeping 2nite ❤️

  the kinda movie that keeps me up at night because MOVIES!!!! WOW!!!!!!! by the end it’s an almost transcendental experience, just feeling totally enraptured and invested in everything that Jimmy Stewart’s Mr.Smith stands for. yes it’s cheesy, and yes, in retrospect the fervent patriotism falls a tad bit flat. but this movie digs at an internal sense of justice that we all (must) have, makes you want to get up and fight and scream for the truth. mwah!!!!!
