    Gas without any fire

    This movie was so good it’s such a shame that it had zero marketing. A classic fully animated Looney Tunes movie in 2025 is so incredible to see especially with the buttery smooth animation and funny jokes from Daffy and Porky as well as the supporting cast.     Nathan Caine, the man who can’t feel pain is such a good name and slogan. 

    Novocaine delivers on well written jokes, strong performances, and some good bloody action. The fights scenes are energetic and creative, taking full advantage of the fact that Nate can’t feel pain.     I’ll preface by saying that I enjoyed Steven Soderbergh’s previous movie Presence, but I think this was a pretty good follow up. A tight 90 minute spy drama with some FANTASTIC music and editing.
