Gladiator 2000
My grandpa's favorite movie. When he started to die from cancer, we watched it together often. I think it helped him look into that dark hole of death and be brave. He was obsessed with classical antiquity—he swore to me that the Greeks had bigger brains. Can't say much about form or technicality, because this film lives in the swampy fields of my stubborn nostalgia. Only can say it helped my grandpa died a little bit braver.
