The most stunning visuals I've ever seen in a movie, and i have avetaged 3 movies/week for the last 30 years.
Timothee Chalamet and Rebecca Ferguson were perfect in the lead roles.
Truly an epic movie, and I can't wait for part 2.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Constantly annoyed by the bad acting, all the time the lead character just looked like the only emotion she had was apathy. Also bad and illogic decisions by the characters all the time.
But by far the worst was the last act. Horribly rushed, bad writing, and equally bad acting.
And I haven't mentioned the VFX.it looked like the filmmakers had filmed the environment separately from the characters. They almost looked like clip art.
One of the worst movie experiences I've had in years.
After watching the movie, I read about the true story the movie was based upon for hours.
As a movie it couldn't match movies like Black Hawk Down, Lone Survivor or American Sniper, it's a solid war movie. The true story behind the movie is one of legends!
As a movie I gave it 3 out of 5
As a tale of bravery against impossible odds - is at least a 4 out of 5
Trivia #1 - Chris Hemsworth…
The best Christmas story ever. I've watched it every year since 1975, when i was 7.
