  The ending was a tad abrupt for my liking, but I really did love it. It’s exactly what I expected. There were some true “Oh… shit” moments where I just stared at the screen, mouth agape. Pretty powerful stuff. I loved how sweaty they got. So tense. And I loved how we only got to see the boy’s face once. Mandatory viewing for all law students!

  Maybe I’m not prepared for this new visual medium, but for me, I found this movie incredibly OVERanimated, to the point where the background shifts and sudden convulsions of color only confused me and diluted the overall impact of the storytelling/what the storytellers were trying to accomplish. Some visual aspects were a bit too on the nose for me too. I also thought some of the character’s actions made no sense - like zero sense. Hobie is the absolute best…
