The film is both a visual and a spiritual masterpiece. It goes beyond the preconceived notions of what a family friendly movie usually presents the audience by providing an insightful outlook on life that is beautiful and encouraging. The purpose driven life that is expounded upon throughout the film is heavy material, but is made palpable through John Logan's terrific screenplay.
