damn the SHOTS!!!!!!!! gotta admit once upon a time in hollywood is beautifully constructed although it is lengthy as hell and you feel like it's going nowhere for a good 2 hours. i personally appreciated the detail and how the 50s were presented in the film. it was also fun following along with 3 timelines and seeing how they meet in the end. you think it's a cute little film until quentin goes full tarantino in the last 30 minutes…
it's just so aesthetically pleasing that it felt like another dimension.

why this film is so good isn't just surface level. there's a lot of aspects of it that make it fantastic. the joker separates itself from other superhero/villain movies in the sense that it's so raw. no CGI fighting or futuristic tech. it's prevalent to darker society today (specifically gun violence, mass hysteria, mental health and the incel culture/mindset) and shows us what could happen if we don't take mental health seriously. we watch arthur endure the hurt his surroundings…
