Had to rewatch this after visiting Salzburg—highly recommend if you get the chance, it’s stunning. But I digress. Watching Tom Hulce in a serious role (well, not really—he’s still a goofball) is funny when I can’t unsee him as Pinto from Animal House. Love that given the whole story is told through Salieri’s memory, Mozart being an unhinged giggle machine was totally intentional.
