I cannot think of a single thing I would change about this movie. The soundtrack was so blissful and the aesthetic was beautiful. This is a great example of a suburban family that’s not poor or rich, just doing what they can. Every single actor brought a very realistic and compelling character in this film. And I will always associate a yellow Volkswagen with this movie. I love this movie!!

hugh jackman and jake gyllenhaal bring a phenomenal performance to this movie and made it worth watching. I was hooked within the first 10 minutes of the movie but it was SOOO long. this movie was very dramatic and had a few unexpected turns. However I HATE that the audience never got a full explanation about that guy with the snakes, AND worst of all- I hate how Hugh Jackman is trapped and the movie leaves on that note.

the voices for each character was perfect. I feel like there aren’t a lot of movies about brothers either so it was nice to see this dynamic. Overall this is a heartwarming story, and a great movie if you’re hanging out with kids, or anyone, and don’t want annoying songs/singing and an actual good story. Very wholesome movie and would watch this again.
