  Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack 1988

  Watched this in a theater this time and it was incredible. What was more incredible was learning a set of grandparents brought their grandkid because it was “the only cartoon playing at this theater.” The thought that this family was gonna experience this movie out of context was a high unlike any other.

  I’ve seen this movie a few times now and I feel like I get so much out of it each rewatch. Little things feel so much more important. Absolutely horrific and upsetting. Truly a special movie.

  Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023

  Kind of fucked up how they made such an incredible piece of cinema and split into two parts. Absolutely gorgeous animation. The story was gripping and had me at the edge of my seat the entire way. I loved this and I seriously cannot wait to see the second part. If you’re a big spider head there’s a ton of great Easter eggs and just general classic spider antics that remind you why he’s such an endearing lasting hero.

  Closest thing to a modern day Gialo I think we’ll be getting for a while!!!  I’m happy to say that I really dug the vision here. It’s hard not to compare it to its predecessors in X and in Pearl but a very fun and exciting watch for sure!
