Honestly what a fun lil time! Predictable, but fun. Bit too much spoiled in the trailers, but still plenty of body horror cringing.

Okay, so contrary to my last review, this is a case in which I’d known nothing and not seen any trailers! It was a great little movie for what it was, I was entertained and liked the performances. However, I went in with unrealistic expectations of it being deeply moving and profound given the creative team behind it and it simply wasn’t that. Just a cute fun time film. And that is totally fine! But I had the slightest twinge of disappointment because I wanted to be in my emotional bag 😀

Idk the exact date, but I’ll always remember sneakily watching this movie while my parents weren’t home, thinking they would be mad at me for watching such an intense horror film… and instead they came home and caught me and were just mad that I experienced it the first time without them. A classic through and through.
