I loved how they all sounded like anime dub characters. Robert deserves the oscar for this film. Naomi also stole the spotlight of every scene she was in! The jokes were so well timed (i laughed a lot).
The leader being a culmination of every evil person in history and wanting to kill the “monsters” who were indigenous to the planet made the point of the movie very obvious. I can’t believe people didn’t get it.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey 2012
whole lot of nothing in 3 hours. The LOTR trilogy had me yearning for more even with the extended versions but i didn’t feel the same way with the Hobbit. Because of the extended cast, it felt hard to connect with any of the characters at all especially with the many POVs. the hobbits in the OG are so charismatic while bilbo is just there.
i realized i really loved the elves because that was the only part i liked.…
