It got off to a flying start- I was completely transfixed and absolutely loving it...up until Tina Fey enters Joe Gardner's body and Jamie Foxx voices a cat. From there, the film was a bit lost on me as I struggled to keep up.
I left with a similar feeling after watching 'Inside Out' - rather disappointed. The idea is fantastic, but the execution sadly lacking.
With 'Soul' it felt like they overcomplicated the plot and tried to do too…
