I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It is extremely silly, but disturbing at times. The bright colors and practical effects really make this movie impressive visually for an 80's film
Based on the reviews of this film I can agree that it certainly attempts to paint some sort of deep meaning.. However, I think that I really need to watch it again to grasp what it's trying to say.
I highly recommend this film to anyone who enjoys a good 80's horror film with a good sense of humor.
