  Κρίμα γιατί με (αρκετή) παραπάνω προσπάθεια θα μπορούσε να είναι μια αξιοπρεπής ταινία για μαζική κατανάλωση με πολύ καλό box office, που ανοίγει παραπάνω την κουβέντα για την ενδοοικογενειακή βία.

  Ήθελα να το δω ακριβώς επειδή έγινε όλος αυτός ο χαμός και διάβαζα τα χειρότερα για την ταινία και τη στάση της Blake στις συνεντεύξεις και πώς αντιμετώπιζε την ταινία. Είναι λες και δεν καταλάβαινε σε τι ταινία έπαιζε (δε θα μπω καθόλου στη διαδικασία να σχολιάσω το original material…

  As the film started to unfold I got very excited, but the end didn’t really work for me.

  There is a certain incident that takes place quite early in the film, which I thought would shape the story and the characters’ relationship accordingly. While there were so many characters introduced with interesting subplots and a lot of potential, it didn’t feel like these characters eventually connected with each other or got the closure they deserved in the end.

  Our loved ones never really go away, as long as we always remember them.

  I really don't know what else to add about Aftersun; so many thoughts have been expressed, numerous reviews have been written and the film has already touched so many people. Since I watched it both at home and the cinema, it was like I was actually walking with Sophie down the memory lane, trying to observe if there was anything I missed.
