The screenplay was a little weird at times but loved the story!

I don't know why I got to this so late but I loved it!

Writing this as I'm going back home after watching this at a film festival. Had the good luck of being there for a q&a session with the writer and the director. It's such a simple and heartwarming movie which also ends up giving you extremely uncomfortable reality checks about the treatment of women in the Indian society. Must watch!

This one hit a little close to my heart, what a simple but beautiful portrayal of the struggle between the new and old, and how uncertain life can be. Also feel like the whole Apu trilogy till now has unintentionally put the life and sufferings of the mother in the center, rather than Apu himself.
