Though I do overall consider this a pretty good limited series, I think of it as rather inconsistent in reason and quality in part because of the One Shot nature of it. While I think it’s incredible impressive and a great feat of filmmaking I always question how much is actually gained from shooting in this way.

I think the first 3 episodes make a fair case for it’s utility but ep 4 fails to convince me and despite strong…

Got to see Italy’s submission for the Oscar’s best international feature category with one its leads (Guiseppe De Domenico) in attendance as well as answering a few questions after that actually did help me like the movie a little more than I originally did.

After a 3rd viewing I’m a lot more aware and critical of the film than I was in my first 2 experiences but none of critiques put any weight to sink this film as anything below a top 3 film of the year. And just noticing fun small things here and there

I was more fixated on Greta Lee in my first 2 watches but now I’m far more appreciative of Teo Yoo and John Magaro’s tentatively looks and minor maneursims.
