  The second movie called "Monster" that I've seen this week (and easily the better of the two).

  I definitely have a soft spot for Korean films and overlook the problematic portrayals of mentally handicapped people. However, this movie just takes so many turns, it's hard not to overlook everything else about it.

  Frankly it's not particularly well-shot and the narrative suffers from a lot of pacing problems, but the last 30 minutes of the film more than make up for…
