What a gang!!! As a lover of behavioral communication and interspecies interactions, I was completely entranced the entire film (and also quite anxious for our furry lead!) Though the domestic animals, including our lead, struck me as very Sims-like, Gints & team nailed every miau and mmrr and wide-eyed gaze. Beautiful music that served to ground and propel the plot and compliment the spiritual themes in the movie. The world is stunning (and gave me a feeling of Zeta Halo) and I can't wait to return!

Confused about this one.
A lot of the film felt perverted, in both senses of the definition (and nothing to do with sex work): the "love" story was like watching two teenagers fuck (which perhaps is the point but still feels very inappropriate), and Baker decided to make the man that ties up, throws, and pins down Ani, the moral compass of the story.... What?
In terms of cinematography, the love scenes meant to induce nostalgia (Coney, Vegas, clubbing) felt…
