I can't decide if I am ok accepting this movie as an abstract piece of art that leaves you with odd discomfort and slight disgust oozing from characters and story development alike. Or if I am frustrated that even after 2 hours 44 minutes and three stories, I still cant quite put my finger on what this was all about.
It was definitely fun to see the cast reappear in different roles in each story. The stories are surprising and…

If you appreciate the "genre" of Mad Max, you are going to enjoy this movie. Exquisite creativity in presenting a variety of villain characters (well done on the nipple theme) and their henchmen, as well as in the insane violence. Really impressive action scenes and stunt work. I just really like the War Boys. Chris Hemsworth did a surprisingly good job portraying his character and letting him grow in his insanity (and did not need a weird fake nose to help that). Also liked the choice of Furiosa's helper not being a generic pretty boy.

Great movie. It's a long movie but very short lived. Very clever dialogue. The story is so unpredictable and the relationships of all characters take more than one turn. The main actress does an exceptional job of conveying every nuance of her many conflicting emotions. I loved the mother-son relationship. Their interactions were very serious, almost adult, but not lacking connection and love. No classic cheesy teary mother-love scenes, which made them very real.

So much fun to watch. Great small town story filled with wicked humor, well blended into the struggles of the male dominated society. Highlighting the oppression of women at the time without being heavy and showing fun female characters that were everything but helpless. Definitely, a laugh out loud kind of movie for me. A lot of love for detail and work put into the development of each character. Wonderful character acting of all leading as well as supporting actors.
