Ngl I'm still a sucker for science-fiction CGI clusterfucks so I can't say I didn't enjoy this to some extent, but still this ain't worth 56,000,000 Big Macs I'm sorry

Political commentary galore, Bong Joon-ho supremacy.
He directs his ass off this movie, and this is possibly his most fun film to date.
Science-Fiction at his purest, introducing ideas of technologies that could just come into fruition some day, and as per usual in Bong's films there's heavy political commentary that is relevant for today. Not his best of works but I enjoyed it so very much.

I seem to be constantly underestimating how much I am going to love a film. I am not familiar with Sean Baker's game but he seems to have put me under his spell.

This is exceptional. A blend of a thematically rich story embedded with robust social criticism of the working man against the rich, and an exploration of a character lost in it's own crumbling life. Themes of sexuality, class, humanity... Baker leaves us with so much to chewโ€ฆ
