I’m a loss for words. I don’t know. I really don’t know. This film is like no other. Which I think is really rare to see these days.
James Grays storytelling is so honest, thoughtful, confusing and beautiful. Each frame of this movie is painted with precision. Hoytemas cinematography is subjective towards McBrides reality. He’s using colors to express emotions and his low key images portray contrast and conflicting emotions throughout the film.
