  Ugh, I forgot how much of a chore this film was. Adam Sandler hadn't made Grown Ups 2 yet, Andy Samberg was in his prime. How did they stuff it up? God awful writing, some terrible story takes and ugh... a few genuinely funny moments but otherwise a bit meh.

  +1/2 star - Andy Samberg does his best with what he's got.
  +1/2 star - Eva Amurri as the stupidest named, yet dream "hot teacher" we wish we all had.

  "I'm here about some monkeys!"

  Really stands up to the test of time.

  Willis and Stowe are in career best form whilst Gilliam transcends from his Python days to get the best out of his actors.

  Pitt also excels as the maniacal Jeffrey Goines, arguably one of the performances of his early career.

  JK Simmons puts in the performance of his career, and Miles Teller performs out of his skin.
