im not sure how far into twin peaks s3 i was before i realised that I will never see anything this good again (possibly at part 16, or maybe even part 8) but it is almost indescribable how much i loved it.
i wanna quickly say that both the original and the remake are great in their own ways but they’re both completely different in both tone and content so they’re pretty incomparable

Our Man in Havana 1959
Some really cool visual additions to the story from el libro: the amplified shadow of the cleaner on the wall, the doors closed for a secret conversation being increasingly flimsy and lacking privacy, the made in japan miniature model, and the white horse seamlessly replaced by millie with the car. A really sad reminder to the modern viewer of the wistful internationalist hopes of the last century.
