Perfect Days 2023
So simple but full of emotions.
I liked the attention they put in the surroundings, especially the treetop views and the connection Hirayama has, documenting them and growing saplings. The dreams of the past days in black and white are a great transition.
Nothing huge happens in this movie, but it is so profound and real. The small joys, the pain, the trauma, all projected on to the daily routine. That’s what I like so much about it.

It is a piece of art. The props, all the installations are just awesome in combination with the cinematography. Although showing it as a movie allows the use of CGI and more props, compared to what one can do on a theatre stage, a theatrical experience would be as great or even better.
